Antique Victorian 18ct yellow gold solitaire ring with fluted shank, open vented shoulders and a belcher/buttercup claw set old European cut diamond.
In fantastic condition for it's age, this beautiful ring has only light surface wear. The band is approx. 2mm at it's thinnest point. The central hand cut diamond is approx. 0.5ct; we estimate it's colour to be K/L by today's modern standards and it's clarity to be VS2/SI1. It has an eye visible inclusion and the open cutlet is slightly off centre.
Hallmarked 18ct gold, Birmingham 1898 and stamped with maker's mark L&L. Weighs approx. 4.3 grams.
