A fabulous and very unusual Art Deco graduated necklace made up of a mix of orange and red toned early plastic beads, including amber and cherry Bakelite. The beads are all different shapes and styles; some opaque and some translucent, some carved and others smooth.
Circa 1920/30 and 18.5 inches long. In good condition - the beads are on string and individually knotted. All have light surface wear, some have heavier wear including scuffing and very small chips to facet edges. The beads are dulled, particularly the amber and cherry and one of the smaller carved beads is especially worn.
