Antique French miniature portrait brooch in enamel & 18k gold. Depicts a side profile of Joan of Arc, embossed in engraved gold armour, with her hair braided and wearing a thin gold crown.
Circa late 1800's. There is a small scratch (approx 5mm) to the black background, a very very tiny chip to the left edge and some very light surface scratches. Otherwise in excellent condition for it's age. Pin is good and secure. Hallmarked with a horse's head for 18k gold, France & stamped with maker's mark. The letters/numbers sf714 have been lightly scratched to the reverse.
This brooch will be sent in it's original antique box.
