A very unusual and detailed antique Victorian solid gold pocket watch key. The body of the key is in the form of an eagle with outstretched wings. The gold is predominately yellow but has a very subtle slightly rosy tone in places to the reverse of the wings. The winding pipe was originally gold plated but this has worn away over the years to reveal the steel body underneath.

Measures approx. 3cm tall and weighs approx. 3.1 grams
In very good condition with light surface wear. No marks - tests as at least 9ct gold.
