This antique solitaire engagement ring has an elegant gold band with blunt cut tapering shoulders, and features a beautiful claw set European old cut diamond.
Circa 1920/1930. Good condition. The diamond is 0.25ct, eye clean and beautifully sparkling for a stone of it's age and cut. It leans slightly yellow in colour. Under a loupe there are a few natural inclusions and there is some wear to the gridle of the stone. Some of the claws of the setting are very worn but they are all holding the diamond securely. Stamped 18ct. The stamp cuts into the edge of the band but as this is on the underneath it is not visible when worn.
