An unusual gold plated antique Dutch sweetheart brooch with cutaway "Gij en Ik" which translates to English as "You and Me".
Circa 1930. Measures approx. 53mm x 25mm. There is heavy wear to the plating and noticable patches of tarnish and discoloration to both the front and reverse. The letter J is bent slightly. Despite this age related wear it is still a very attractive piece.
The brooch comes with it's original gift box from T. Taylors & Sons of Morecambe, the box is very worn and damaged.
