Circa 1930 vintage gemstone necklace with 14 oval faceted citrines joined by cultured pearls connected with gold tone wire.
The necklace measures just over 20 inches and closes with a 9ct gold spring ring and bolt fastener. The closure is a brand new later addition.
In very good condition with light surface wear; some of the pearls have light scratches and scuffs. The citrine have wear to the interior and edges of some of the bead holes. Some have light wear to their facet edges and many have natural inclusions. The stones are well matched, a pale golden honey tone, clear in places with deeper yellow streaks noticable when held to the light.
The largest citrine measures approx. 17mm x 14mm with a depth of 9mm and the smallest ones are approx. 12mm x 9mm with a depth of 5mm.
