A very pretty double sided miniature landscape, hand painted on silver and in a pendant frame on silver tone chain, possibly Italian.
Approx. 6.5cm in diameter. Both paintings are signed B. Consant, or Consani. The 'canvas' is stamped 800 for silver . The jump ring attached to the frame bale has worn hallmarks for silver. The chain is fancy link, 20 inches long and not silver.
In very good condition with light surface wear. The necklace has a lightweight feel to it. The paintings are protected by a clear piece of Perspex which is a little poorly cut around the edges. They move around within the frame and are not fixed in place.
